Maybe im not searching correctly. Just kinda looking for some recommended specs on an intercooler (piping size, cooling area, etc.)

anything really that you can fit in the front(i dont think that there is enough room to really go to big, but could be wrong), and run 2.25-2.5in piping.

Cool. I just remember reading I dont want something too small to cool enough air for a VG30. Especially since I think I'm going to end up doing a blown 3.8

please. Buick 3.8's belong in GN's thats about it, there blocks arent any stronger than a vg's or more suited for boost. Cooler than buick 3.8 would be an old turbo fire 215 v8, IMO. My friend has been researching the viper v10 swap for his chopped 73 chev pickup. He's found 8.3L engines rebuilt for 3500 bucks! Thats an awesome deal compared to what they want for just a stock 92-95 RT/10 engine. peace.

He was my proof that hypereutectic pistons are equal strength to forged slugs but cant handle the det. threshold of forged units. Anyway, I am aware of what the bucik 3.8 can do. Its old news and nothing inpressive IMO. The technology involved with the vg is far greater than the 3.8 and more reliable, also aftermarket support merely has to do with how much money you wanna spend. Displacement will always win in a hp race. Its just like watching big blocks race with small blocks chasing after them at the drag strips. Im done hijacking this thread, lol. sorry Iownanmgb. peace.

I was looking at a intercooler unit, and when I asked the guy about the size of it he said,
"its big, dimensions are probably 3.5'ft wide 1 ft tall and about 3'' thick if i had to guess."
He also said he thinks the inlet is 2.75, and the outlet is 2.25.
I remember reading somewhere that 2.5 and below is optimal, is that correct?
